Buona Vita Pizzeria: Authentic Ocean City Pizza & More with Outstanding Service

So I saw a review about the pepperoni pizza at Buona Vita and decided I had to try it for myself. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. I added mushrooms on top just to mix it up and OH. MY. GOD. It was next level. Like, seriously… the crust was perfect, the sauce had just the right kick, and the combo of pepperoni and mushrooms? Absolute fire

Every summer, Buona Vita is my go-to spot and it never disappoints. This place has become a tradition for me, and one of the highlights of the menu has to be the Parmesan Meatballs. They’re incredibly flavorful: juicy on the inside, with that perfect touch of crispy cheese on the outside. You can tell they’re made fresh, with real care. It’s simple food, done righ. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and order the Parmesan Meatballs. And really, anything else on the menu. Buona Vita just gets it right, every single time.

We had a 12 inch pepperoni pizza and it was so good we wished we had ordered a bigger one! I liked it so much I ate the crust which I rarely do! We stayed at the Flagship hotel nearby and dined in for dinner here late Saturday afternoon. The staff was super friendly and nice. They have a great little arcade we played in until our pizza was done which was only about 20 min or so? Seemed quick to us! Cozy atmosphere, great pizza and nice people. The pizzas were a little pricey but not too bad for the boardwalk! In the end we didn't care because it was so good! We will definitely go back next time we visit!

Caroline was the cashier Mr. Irwin made my food and I spoke with the owner. We came down here for a bike week 2025 and I can honestly tell you it was not only beautiful, but the calzone was absolutely delicious and so big that I couldn’t eat it all. Please come and give them a try if you’re ever down here in Ocean City at the grand Hotel one of the best restaurants ever! Worth the price every cent so delicious

I had such a great experience at Buona Vita Pizzeria! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly, but what really stood out to me was the customer service. Caroline, the cashier, was so kind and welcoming from the moment I walked in. She greeted me with a smile, helped me with my order, and made me feel like a valued customer. It’s not often you come across someone so genuine and friendly—it really made my visit that much better. I’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the amazing pizza, but also for the outstanding service.

I actually saw them take it out of the oven it came out hot and fresh, and you could smell how good it was before it even got to the table. Everything was done quickly but with care. The service was fast, the staff were super friendly as always, and the whole place just has this relaxed, welcoming vibe. Okay, I have to talk about the pretzel at Buona Vita… it’s honestly insane. I live in Ocean City and I seriously can’t stop coming here just to get it. It’s soft, warm, perfectly salted, and has that buttery flavor that makes every bite feel like comfort food heaven. I know Buona Vita is all about the pizza, pasta...(which is also amazing, obviously), but do not sleep on the pretzel. It’s that good. If you’re in OC and haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.
